Microsoft has revealed the working of Kinect. It has released an 8-page research publication to be presented at the IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition later this year in June titled “Real-Time Human Pose Recognition in Parts from a Single Depth Image“. This paper explains how Kinect works, intelligent algorithms behind the Kinect. Find more about this at Microsoft Research.
